The movie's done. For happy times, go to:

I'll be back later to comment on the final product, but the combination of the release and seeing King Kong have left me disoriented. Wooh!

Ha. Ha. Ha, happy December Fools day!

Yeah, the release got pushed back to about a week. But that gives me a week to fix a ton of little things wrong with the movie, so be thankful. BE IT.

Strait street. No rules.

Big news on the EM8K front for all you guy(s) who read this. Throw me the idol, and I'll give you the updates! Little Indiana Jones humor there.

First off, what started off as a "show" idea has been changed dramatically. Originally, there was a planned six episodes of EM8k at about 20-30 minutes each. Then we realized that we had never made a movie longer than 17 minutes, and the jump to 3 hours was just too much. BUT! But, we have decided to take all the best jokes, action sequences, and Ultra Q references and turn them into a nonstop action short film! Honestly, I think that EM8K as a short film will work better than it ever could have as a "show". Trust me, it would get old after the first 2.5 hours.

Oh bite me, Jamila. You had your time. It was called 1966.

Other big news: WE (sort of) HAVE A RELEASE DATE!!!! I can't assure anything solidly yet, but we were handed a Dec. 1st deadline, around lunch time. I can't say why, but it's going to be a sepctacular release. Stay tuned for EM8K's premiere on www.fxhome.com in December.

Well that's it for now, have tons to do. The next update will have pictures of us in the suits! WOOHAR!

Get to work! Ron Gilbert (maybe) is watching!

It Begins...

That's right. Filming has begun. Today, with my brand new camera there, I shot the opening scene to Electric Mans 8000 Mission 1. Need proof? More proof!

Look at me handle that toy robot like a pro!

Anyway, this sudden urge to do actual work probably wouldn't have happened without some inspiration from Ron Gilbert.

Ron Gilbert, aka one of the most influential game designers of all time (he made Monkey Island 1 & 2, and for future reference, both those game are the 1337 h4x0rz that ur mawmaw gayve u), runs the utterly wonderful site GrumpyGamer.com . So I was visiting it the other day and as it turns out, this blog site was referer of the week. This meant that in some form or another, the man who created the only computer game I played till I was about seven saw my site, and maybe even liked it a little bit, and linked it off his. Well, anyway, that just put us into a tailspin of excitement, and we jumped on our first chance to film the day the new camera arrived. Thanks a ton Mr. Gilbert.

So that's it. It has in fact begins. Begun.
